Dr. Satya B. Verma, OD

Dr. Verma has been in practice for over 30 years. His special interests are in contact lenses, low vision and computer vision. He is also on the Faculty of Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Verma is the past President of Pennsylvania Optometric Association and was its Optometrist of the year for 1986 & 1997. He was the 1998 Optometrist of the year of the American Optometric Association and received 1998 "Distinguish Service Award" from Prevent Blindness America. In March 2000 he has been selected as a Distinguished Practitioner in National Academy of Practice in Optometry of the National Academies of Practice. He is past Chair of Public Health Section of the American academy of Optometry and Vision Care Section of the American Public Health Association. He has lectured nationally and internationally.
